2026 Tasmanian Tourism Conference

Thriving Places, Thriving History

 

The 2026 Conference is made up of three unique parts - each designed to appeal to different interests, roles, and stages of the tourism journey.

Day 1 (Tuesday 28 July) – Workshops

Roll up your sleeves for a hands-on half-day of intensive learning and skill-building, with 12 specially curated 75-minute workshops.

Day 1 (Tuesday 28 July) – Evening Networking Event 

Wrap up the day with a relaxed and vibrant evening celebrating Tasmanian food and beverage, live entertainment and great company at Albert Hall. 

Day 2 (Wednesday 29 July) - Plenary Sessions

The conference comes together for a full day of big-picture thinking, industry insight and future-focused discussion. Hear from tourism leaders, global experts and innovative thinkers exploring the forces shaping Tasmania’s visitor economy - from AI and changing traveller behaviour to demographics, climate adaptation, wellness tourism and the future of travel distribution.
