Gabriella Conti

Chief Executive Officer (currently on maternity leave)

Gabriella Conti, CEO of West by North West the  regional Tourism organisation, has extensive experience in project management and executive roles, last few roles including Laureate University and the Federal Group. With a strong passion and love for the region, she is excited about the growth of the region, having a strong focus on making sure we plan to manage growth sustainably.

Sam Denmead

Acting Chief Executive Officer

A proud Tasmanian, Sam Denmead brings 30 years of experience in the tourism industry to the role of Acting CEO while Gabriela is on maternity leave. As Industry Manager at Tourism Tasmania, she played a key role in strengthening industry inclusion and engagement. Her career spans founding a pioneering cycle tour operation, running a Tourism and Marketing consultancy, and she has been involved in the Tasmanian Tourism Awards and Top Tourism Towns for over a decade, serving as a National Judge for the past three years. She holds a postgraduate qualification in tourism, a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management, and a mini MBA in marketing.

Born on the north west coast, Sarah has vast tourism experience across the public and private sectors, with a degree in tourism marketing and entrepreneurship and a decade of rich experience working for iconic products and destinations in New Zealand.
